Denman Island

luckily the effect of the hot sun during the long walk was offset by a breeze from the sea...this view is looking a bit north of east across the Strait of Georgia...Texada Island is barely visible on the horizon, and behind the Coast Mountains of BC's mainland...the plane was coming in for a landing at Comox Airport on Vancouver Island
