as the odyssey continued, the return trip on Christmas Day (a second Xmas dinner ahead with old friends) also saw a burst of sunshine, and very mild temperatures, so it was possible to spend the entire voyage outside on the deck...good thing too as sailing through the Southern Gulf Islands, particularly here in Swanson Channel, is quite scenic
