elusive

in recent weeks sunsets have been elusive to say the least...a bank of thick clouds seems to inevitably haunt the horizon from this nearby vantage point...some days a bit of light breaks through, but for the most part the events have failed to meet their initial promise...perhaps in a month or two there might be a bit more rich colour in the evening sky

This might not have the brilliant colors of some sunsets but it makes me feel safe and peaceful...and that's a good way to feel at the end of the day.
