I would love to see some old pictures of East Hialeah in 1948. Especially the area of E 34 st and 9th Avenue when these homes were being built.

The diagonal road in the foreground is mostly likely what is now Okeechobee Road and the view is looking north if so. How far east or west is unknown but homes were probably near Palm Avenue or eastward towards E. 4th Avenue and E. 8th Avenue.

Do any old timers know the history of these homes? For example, when were they demolishes, approximate location, what stands in their places today, etc?
