Thank you for posting, Estela. It helps other visitors to the site remember things or realize what used to be there when you tell us what stores are there now. I appreciate it because I don't have the time to go down PS Mile and take notes as to what stores are where now. : )

You're correct, Mr. Boyd. Orange Blossom Hobbies was on NW 36th St in the Allapattah area where I lived until the age of 6 and later my parents moved to Hialeah in '66 where they bought their first house on E. 52nd St. I had totally forgotten about the old Publix and Super X Drugstore on the south side of W. 49th St replaced by a Walgreen's that's now a Michael's Craft Store. Hialeah has changed greatly. Thanks for the memories!

No, Orange Blossom was on NW 36th Street in the Allapattah area - first on the south side of the street and then in a larger building on the north side with their own large fenced parking lot. They died not too long ago - I went to their going out of business sale and picked up some models cheap.

I think the hobby shop was called the orange blossom.

Guest is correct. Mr. Donut was just east of Palm Springs Lanes in front of the Super-X, Publix, Zayre's line of stores facing north.

Along the strip with Grand Union was Hobbie Mart. As I remember, Mr Donuts was across 49th st. near Zayer, publix, and Super X.

Anyone remember the name of the hobby shop that was next to the Mister Donut? They used to have a slot car track there.
