I thought them trees looked familiar. Yep, its Peckers Point where us Miami Beach Highschoolers when to watch the submarine races.

That amusment place was called Fun Fare

I believe the place for burgers and fries was called "Coney Island Amusements"

On the left across from the tower is the entrance to Pecker's Point. Between the tower and the Gulf sign was the "World Famous Peppermint Lounge" home of the Peppermint Twist. There was also a comedy nightclub there where Lenny Bruce was arrested for obscenity in the 1960s.
To the east of this point there was a great place to get burgers and fries and play all kinds of coin operated games, but I can't remember the name of it.
