Tumbleweeds place was at Northwest 185th St. and 32nd Ave. My friend and I would ride our bikes and look at his place after it was vacated, maybe 1958-59. There were concrete pits in the ground to hold animals in, and all kinds of cages. Florida has always seemed to me to be the land of big dreams by people who live on the fringe of society, and Tumbleweeds place typified that, maybe he was a carny or a circus performer.

Hi Harold, thank you for posting your comments and memories for others to read. I have great enjoyment from posting all these photos to help refresh old memories and to preserve a lot of the history that we lived through in the "old days", especially the 1950's through the 1970's.

Hang in there Harold and best regards,

Don
