Enoch Sayre jr and his brother Don were two of my good friends, They grew up on w 19 st off 2nd ave. Enoch got his first car, a 36 plymouth and did we ride, We did a lot of swimming at the old railroad trussle close to Delarms bait and tackle Those were the days. I wonder if anyone knows of Jimmy Settumbrino, of Patsys pizza
store on e 4th ave and e 18 st.

Jimmy Sledge, I finally got your name, Ronnie Wheeler and Enoch Sayre's names onto the description above. I'm sorry for the delay (5 years!!) but Estela just posted a comment above yours and I just noticed your comments.

Benny Babcock? The namesake of the park on E 4th Ave next to St. John the Apostle Church?

Oops! I meant to say that would have to be Enoch, Jr. that you went to school with.
I need to proof-read my posts more carefully, ha!

The young Enoch Sayre is to my right in this photo( I am 2nd from the right, top row).
He was a close friend and neighbor back then. His family lived about two streets over
from us. We lived on W. 16th St.
If you went to school at S. Hialeah in the 70's, that would have to be Enoch, Jr. in this
photo.
Enoch and I were always getting into some kind of mischief all the time, ha.

I went to South Hialeah Elementary, in the early 70's, with someone called Enoch Sayre, and he looked identical to the boy in this picture. I am assuming it was his son I went to school with. What a small place Hialeah was at one time. You old timers should know that much better than I.
And that tiny window is still visible to this very day. It is the window of the bathroom in the teachers' lounge!

Just to my left(Jimmy Sledge) is Robby Roberson, my best buddy and next door neighbor
back then.

That's me, Jimmy Sledge, back row, second from the right. My cousin, Ronnie Wheeler,
seated on the ground,in front, on the left. One of the girls in this photo is Mary Lou Rodenbush, because she was in our class, but unfortunately I can't identify her(just remember I had a crush on her, ha) I also remember all the field trips that we made
that year, Parrot Village, Seminole Indian Village, the Gator farm, Miami Airport, etc.
Seems we were always going on field trips. Great memories.
