Don, me again. Is the chapel on N.E. 2 Avenue? We frequently did business with a f.h. in that area, I think. I was too small. If it's Combs, he had a great reputation, and indeed a pioneer funeral home. He was quite involved in the post-Hurricane funeral services. I'm not sure that I didn't find a Combs record book for both the 1926 hurricane and the 1936 one. Once again Historical Assn of S.Fla. They have them arranged to be viewed I believe. I may even have some materials for your collection but, no pun intended, they're buried somewhere.
