Darryl Schenk, I was on the trac behind that trac. I remember the duffel bag and how luck he was. Dale Mckay

Darryl You say that you lost most of the Medics. The question I have is, was a Medic by the name of Arthur Dabney with you at the time or perhaps you know of him. I have been unable to locate him. I was the RTO for Lt Sullivan at the time was dusted off and never returned. Any info would be greatly appreciated regarding either one of them. I was Charlie 4.0 2/67 - 2/68. In 12/67 our Medic trac hit a mine. We lost most of our medics. The mine was so powerful it lifted the trac of the ground and flipped it on its top. My friend (my former driver) was the driver and only survived because a duffle bag landed next to his head, giving him space. It was a very sad day! Darryl Schenk C/2/2/4.0

Was with C company as a gunner on the 1-3 track May 6th,1969 to until the division pulled out in April 70. I didn't take pictures, feeling that Vietnam would be the last thing I wanted to remember.
