The Tangs’ Ancestral Hall

Ping Shan, Hong Kong view map

This 700-year-old ancestral hall is a three-hall structure with two courtyards in between.
The hall serves as a meeting place for the Tang clan and a place for honouring their forefathers.

A pair of Chinese Couplets is hanging on both sides of the main entrance.
The ten Chinese characters on the couplets describe the origins and
the long history of the Tang clan; and
their notable family members that contributed to
the establishment of Eastern Han Dynasties (AD 25-220) in the ancient China.

I continue to be fascinated by the variety and beauty of this architecture. By including the chairs in this image you have shown the impressive scale. An interesting perspective and description too. "V"
