February 6 2005:
Trees in the Crem

Between me and the pillar box, I have to pass the local crematorium. So before posting my letter, I thought I’d have a look in there for some PAD possibilities. Whilst I’ve lived here for over 8 years, I never knew there was a lake in the grounds.

My original photo is one of the lake, which I’ve placed in my Around West Surrey gallery. But this one I’ve flipped over and coloured. Should I have told you that?

I looked at the picture before I read the caption, and was thinking "what's going on here then...?". It all makes perfect sense now! Very creepy effect!

Except for some things floating in the...sky, the illusion is perfect. The red adds a lot, blood it seems.
