In the midst of taking this photo of a Christmas Tree on
the landing at the top of an antique staircase,
I was reminded of a line from Frank McCourt's autobiography.
Living in terrible proverty, always on the brink of dying as did several of his siblings,
McCourt found solace in conversations with "the angel on the 7th step," he said.
McCourt won a Pulitzer Prize for his autobiography that was 'titled, ANGELA'S ASHES.
With thought of McCourt and his angel on the 7th step, I've created this composition
using a photo of the sky also taken today in high winds, and combined a 2nd picture of the angel
that sits a-top the tree on the landing.
