Series: An Essay on Waiting
Waiting... Essay on the expression of a feeling.
Photo Club Pavillonnais
Série interessante! Bon travail
more movie than photos, here the
dynamism is excellent.
i know this feeling
This almost makes my heart palpatate. By putting the series as a running group of images, you really convey that empty feeling when you anticipate disappointment like this.
Just awesome!! vv

"He promise me he would come..." Beautiful essay...I can feel the tension, the worry, the questions and finaly the abandon,,, GREAT WORK! V
Great work - it transfers the emotions very well
Some beautiful figure is hidding behind the shadows.
Love the pose, and the intensity of this gallerie, it seems that she's waiting for something or someone already gone , along time ago.
My vote for such talented work.

Christine, this is an exquisite series of photos that take me to places and memories within myself that I didn't even know were there. I found myself holding my breath throughout, like I was waiting for something too. Brava to you for capturing the abstract so graphically.

Poignant Images of one of life's disappointments: To wait, for one who comes not.
very suggestive. One might feel the absence of the waited like a strong presence in your photos. "une presence d'absence" to quote Paul Valery. v
Wonderful title for such a well self expressed photos for a feeing of waiting, you just made the feelings talk.. Voted
Incredible tableaux of body expressions. Hope/wait/expectation/angst/resignation. V

Great gallery! Love the sensibility in it. Voted. Fred
It is amazing how waiting and patience have been so delicately portrayed. I am not sure that I like the conclusion as it looks rather sad. Other than my personal preferences to a beautiful story, I must commend you on the beautiful series presented. Top notch work.
wonderful! and so moody!
such a wonderful essay..well done
I'm moved, the sequence is wonderful and sad.
like a silent dance...voted
There's so much emotion expressed here. I can feel the tension, the anticipation that one feels when waiting, perhaps for a loved one or special person to arrive.

Concept and realization of this essay is spot on Christine. Very inspirational! I think it`s not easy to do this! You catched the spirit! 5***** Vote!
C'est une très belle série. Bravo
This is a copy of the comment I left when I first saw this sequence on the web site of your high school camera club:
"It flows as music from image to image, delicate, poised, anxious, reflective, vulnerable, doubting and and ultimately drained and alone. You have given us an elegant ten image journey, incongruously broken at mid point by a single hand, as if asking for help. Your images are as lean and spare as your cadence, Christine. I sense only a trace of coloration -- defining flesh but denying detail. A masterful exercise in sequencing, beautifully abstracted, and elegantly designed in both form and content. What more is there to say? Congratulations."
Wonderful experimenting, Christine.. very expressive. ~Voted~ :)
Beaucoup d'émotions dans toutes tes galeries... toutes pes photos présentées ont un sens... félicitations pour ton beau travail !

Oh I have been there also!!!A great essay...V again!
You captured the feeling well. I've been there, many times.
This is much more than a great Gallery, is a lecture, by images, of the drama of waiting for someone, something.
Very well thought and very well done.
Oh yes...beautifully emotive. Anticipatory. Everything you'd expect...as one waits.
