Welcome back!... surprising scene. My first thought goes to the klan too. Very well seen (especially the florida shirt!:).
Michael Todd Thorpe27-Jul-2006 00:13
LOL at Doug... I was gonna say the same thing. Oh, you went all the way to Stonehenge and all you came back with was a picture of this guy with a paper bag on his head? :-)
Mary Bowles26-Jul-2006 17:35
Completely potty. There is nothing like England in a heatwave, is there. P.S. the spectacles OVER the "hat" - just priceless.
Guest 25-Jul-2006 23:47
The KKK are in England, great shot :-)Love it Youve been away too
Ray :)25-Jul-2006 23:25
It's hot in England, rumour has it...
Guest 25-Jul-2006 22:24
:)...
Craig, thats a top shot,do I see a duet of paper hats to compliment the duet of starlings?.
A novel, fresh, unusual and Persel approach to an ancient structure..:)
Brilliant...
Guest 25-Jul-2006 21:23
I don't know - what is there to say about an image like this? The paper-hat-ness!!
Well done on including the monolith (which was probably only visiting!)
Guest 25-Jul-2006 19:34
stone hinges to me as a child;
great part-time Californian Druid
in the mix, made me smile.

welcome back!
Intriguing shot!
For me, it seems to be inspired of the Hitchkok film "The birds"
Bravo!

Doug Kessler25-Jul-2006 02:09
Welcome back, Craig. Funny shot to open with after your absence : )
Shouldn't he be wearing tin foil?
AL25-Jul-2006 02:07
LOL... glad to have you back and put a big smile on our face :-))) Funnily brilliant catch, Craig. Perhaps he's avoiding both the summer heat and potential bird spat!

I hope there wasn't a cream bun in that bag :>) Nice to see you back Craig !!
Guest 25-Jul-2006 00:42
Welcome back mate. Literally laughed my ass off when I saw that. It really looks like someone who has dressed up the occasion and perhaps taken his trip to Stonehenge a little seriously. Did you offer yourself as the beautiful, young virgin to sacrifice? The shirt tho gives it away. I'm not sure many wizards and witches wear Hawain shirts. Oh stop the presses, I just realised. There can be no doubt - this is clearly the Man in the Hat, medieval style ;)
Eckhart Derschmidt25-Jul-2006 00:31
The heat is on (and obviously gets people to do all kinds of things in order to have a little protection). Great shot!

Welcome back. I thought this was the Klu Klux Klan from the thumbnail. I see that it was hot in England.
