Red-winged Blackbird, female with food for young.
I noticed the nest in the marsh and I was standing nearby. The birds are smart; they are never flying to their young when intruder is around.
So they keep clinging to rushes, reeds or cattails. They are waiting with their beaks full of insects until danger is gone :)

Such a lovely picture of this cute Red-winged Blackbird you did here. Awesome to see even the insects it caught. Seems there are some hungry souls in the nest. Interesting to read that they don't visit their nest as long as there's an intruder around. Very smart birds. Excellent Picture, Alina. V
