I just came from Ann's Ghetty Center's gallery in LA, inspired by this one. Both are superb by no doubt. Very good compositions and use of light Adal.

Adal- it's much easier to criticize than to praise, don't you think? Sgarbi e Portoghesi et al se la prendono con Meier per guadagnare ascolto..... ma in fondo e' la ara pacis che guadagna....in luce, presenze, prestigio. I live here and I find myself coming back often to see this great city in new ways, and I thank you for that. I knew there was something similar in architecture in this gallery to the Getty Center in LA,no wonder...it is by the same great architect,Richard Meier. Thank you for opening my eyes,Adal.

I've seen and experienced several works of Richard Meier. I used to think: if you've seen one of his designs you've seen them all. Then I saw 'The Getty' in Los Angeles and stood corrected. There, the introduction of rough cut italian travertine provided an effective contrast to his usual smooth, white and square metal cladding. I really think he learned something new in that assignment - and he seems to have brought it into this building as well. I like your unconventional views on this piece of architecture!

Cette galerie est très dynamique, pleine de points de vue et de cadrages originaux. Et elle fait honneur au souhait de l'architecte, cherchant elle aussi "la beauté modelée par la lumière".
