His frown makes one wonder. I missed this one in April, Pepe. Very thought provoking, especially after seeing today's PaD.

Wonderful, he seems to be out of place, like a lost pirate or something......great capture!

I think you weren't `too` far away from him Pepe. And I'm not sure that's tobacco he's smoking there. I am utterly stunned at your range.
Guest 04-Apr-2005 01:14
Interesting how many of your fans see this as out of the norm for your work. I think its great. Good eye for mood, Pepe.

Nice portrait shot. Looks almost like Steven Segal with a beard. Hope you had a long lens, or he'll kick yer butt!
Guest 03-Apr-2005 17:22
interesting contemplative pose. he's going to need to light another one soon.

Pepe, I've come back to this one over and over, thinking about it. It does not look like any of your other work. That said, it's GOOD! All of your work is awesome, this is so differently so. The man almost looks Christlike, but then you see the cigarette, the too-large ring... fascinating.

Your shots are all about presentaion, Pepe. You have the touch.
Susanne03-Apr-2005 14:22
I agree this is a very unsual portrait, though I am not sure why. I like what you accomplished with this portrait, maybe because it is so different.
Guest 03-Apr-2005 14:03
I like this Pepe. The mood is perfect for the subject too.

You do candid photography as well as nature. Terrific Pepe.
Guest 03-Apr-2005 07:11
Totally agree with Kimberly, would never have guessed this is one of your photos
Guest 03-Apr-2005 05:40
Excellent shot, Pepe! I wouldn't have guessed this was yours because of the subject matter, but the quality is amazing as always! Bravo :)
Gary Hebert03-Apr-2005 05:39
