I like how you only show half of him and how his suede shirt compliments the color of the background.

How great ths is.
Can't believe it's been so long since I've been here :(.
Looking but sure not saying much.
Great shot Chris.

Some kind of focus at that length, even the beard is crystal clear.

I like the frame and light here. Beautiful shot!

Makes me want to know what he's looking at. There seems to be enough of a twist in his facial expression to give the feeling that it just might be annoying.
The crop is perfect because it brings more attention to his attention

The framing of this one is really wonderful. It has a movie kind of thing to it. The intensity of his look makes us wonder about what he was looking at and this gives the photo a touch of mystery that I particularly like. And well... the light is really great :)

Cool candid! Love your framing, and you got great light and clarity here! Okay, you succeeded in making me want to know what he is staring at. ;-) V.

Man this is weird. We must have some zen thing going between the two of us because I just took some portraits today with a wide open neg space and subject to the side. Excellent work btw. V
my subject was female though. Still odd. You know what I mean. I am rambling.
