Makes me want to know what he's looking at. There seems to be enough of a twist in his facial expression to give the feeling that it just might be annoying.
The crop is perfect because it brings more attention to his attention

The framing of this one is really wonderful. It has a movie kind of thing to it. The intensity of his look makes us wonder about what he was looking at and this gives the photo a touch of mystery that I particularly like. And well... the light is really great :)

Man this is weird. We must have some zen thing going between the two of us because I just took some portraits today with a wide open neg space and subject to the side. Excellent work btw. V
