Schoonover Park / Marina, CA

A 'right outside the front door or nothing' type of day,
I took this photo a few steps past my front porch.

Why?

Crucial game 5 in Meeeahhhhmee. Pistons-Heat, all tied at two.
Rip, King Bill, The Prince of the Palace, Big Ben & Sheed
are tipping off against Shaqman & Robin as I speak. Can't be
off paddling into shark infested waters at a time like this.
You're all honorary citizens of Motown for the next three hours.
Keep 'em crossed, homeboys (you too, shorties).

Must have been before the game when you were laying in the grass dreaming of the Pistons winning ...
That's why it's beautiful .. green green grass ... gorgeous perspective.. the blue of a robin's egg .. tuft of bushes in the distance.. a place where people can be in heaven.

Or the Pistons can win.. :P

That green is indeed lush and the blue just the same. I love the focus on those individual blades of grass and how it then slowly mixes in with the rest.
