14th September

A different tug was in the bay earlier, the Svitzer Mallaig.
I've seen it on the AIS site helping cargo ships around the Greenock/Gourock area
but have never seen it in the metal before, it can do with a lick of paint! ;-)
it was here killing time while it waited for USNS Laramie to make its way up the coast
to help it get into the refuelling depot at Loch Striven,
with a little help from 2 other more commonly seen tugs of course ;-)

Nice shot. I would rather kill time by docking and hitting up the local pub ;-)

What a view you have - always something happening in the water! Love
that background too.

A very nice scene with part of the town showing. I thought it was a boat race but they're going in opposite directions, duhhh.
