Ye banks & braes...of the Mighty Murray

Taken yesterday on our trip to see the Bunyip (who lives in a grotto alongside our life-blood the Murray River) and yes, the boys did see him, though the youngest (5-yo) would only peer from behind his hands and from a fair distance - as the bunyip emerges from the deep murky water he makes a horrendously loud growl and yowl...

hehehe, we only have the the yumpin fish in our river...you don't need a hook & line the mullet yump into the boat :>)

The boys were lucky, I don't think we have a Bunyip in the Swan River. But we do have a Rainbow Serpent.
