Viola hederacea - a small scentless flower borne on short stems on a creeping evergreen perennial.
The stems are prostrate, suckering and mat forming spreading widely . I have
one of these plants growing in a water-well hanging pot,
and it cascades over the edges and reaches quite a distance.
It likes a damp spot to grow, hence the water-well container.
