Strawberries

We enjoy these summer fruits - they come from different parts of Australia
At this time of year we can buy local strawberries, but the favourites
grow in north Queensland, and we can buy those in our winter!

They look delicious. Strawberries appeared in our supermarket yesterday, Spanish and forced they bear no resemblance to the summer fruits grown in France and the UK :(

Many of our strawberry plants died out in the rain over Christmas and New Year... But the new lot now aren't tasting so fresh.
