Kiwi fruit - 11

The kiwi fruit wasn't quite ripe enough for my taste, we'll keep the other
two a bit longer so they can ripen up more before I try eating them again.

Sorry I've got behind with the commenting, Dick gave me a HEAP of typing to do
and we've been out to a concert. I'll try and catch up today.
Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments!

Place them in a paper bag with a banana and they will ripen. The gold Kiwi are a bit sweeter than the green.

This looks so good. Yeah, you have to let it ripen up to taste perfect but I like them anyway I can get them!

Lovely still life, I have to learn how to build these, the repetition of shape plus the texture of the fruit make this an excellent image.

Lovely perspective and DoF on this Yvonne...love kiwis (the kids eat them as though they are boiled eggs - cut the top off and scoop out the flesh with a teaspoon!!)

a very nice capture, I always find them a bit to sour for my taste.
I know they are full of vitamin C, alas!

I remember when kiwi fruit was first introduced in this country. It is so delicious and I like it mixed in with cut up fresh fruit.
