1948 Chevrolet Fleetline AeroSedan.....This car is sharp! sharp! sharp! GM's fastback styling of this era was very popular with buyers. Popularity of the fastback model declined though, when GM introduced the pillarless hardtop on its new post-war lineup of cars like the '49 Buick Roadmaster Riviera, the '49 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and the '49 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe. The wood applique on this Aerosedan reminds one of the Chrysler Town & Contry of the same 1946-48 era as this Chevy design.
