A new habit of young couples in the parks:
Instead of writing their names into trees,
they have started to leave these things at the iron fences of bridges.

What an interesting custom and much better than drawing hearts on trees and walls!

Those are interesting love-tokens!! In NZ ladies began to tie their Bras to a farmer's fence. The locals didn't like it at all. Check this out:

what a great find, and a wonderful idea of the couples, you can remove the lock once the relation is finished

This is something I haven't seen before.. makes a wonderful photo, especially with the heart on the lock.. great shot..

Werner, this is super and the shot is excellent! V.
PS. I heard some bureaucrats don´t want them, because they would damage (through wind, making them pounder against the bridge) the rust protection on bridges, causing high-maintenance!!

Have not seen this before. This is well shot!

Enchanting new habit for the young and in love. Bit I wonder why those two red locks are so far apart ---- don't tell me they're on the verge of breaking up :-)

I've never heard of this trend, but did find one lock on a fence one time that I thought how odd. I wonder if in our park they would just cut them off and throw away before the realized what was happening! I think that fence is neat and will be better in time :)
