This was a very pregnant seal. She gave birth about an hour after this picture. Unfortunately, I had left just a few minutes before it happened, since I was getting freezing cold. Oh well. It would have been a bit too dark for good shots anyhow, with just one flood light from a life guard tower remaining when I left. My last sample exposures at the time were about 1/10s at f/2.8 and ISO 3200.
