This waterfall is at least 40' high - probably more. The viewing area is right next to the waterfall, so I was basically looking up to shoot the falls. The rock really is this reddish orange color and is very slippery. We shot our fill here, then headed down creek. It was a bushwhack the whole way. In warmer weather we could have waded the creek, but instead we had to fight the rhododendron and brier tangle.
