The rain moved out early Sunday morning. I needed to get back home and get some stuff done, but wanted to stop the Pisgah Forest to see what I could see. I stopped by Looking Glass Falls first. The water was gushing from last night's rain, but I passed on a photo because of bad light and brown water. Instead I continued up to Moore Cove Falls - an old favorite. I was hoping for a few wildflowers also and spotted a few. There were some Showy Orchis scattered about, but no really nice specimens. This was the best I saw and it was growing crooked.
