Today I decided to revisit a part of the Smokies that I haven't really explored. I wanted to head to Big Creek for the wildflower display, but since I-40 is still closed I thought this would be a good option. The only problem with getting to Cataloochee Valley is the narrow gravel road that leads into the area from Hwy 276. We haven't had much rain in the area either and traveling the road was throwing up a big dust cloud.
