This road leads from the gate down to the trails up. Side trails go every which way and none of them are marked. We went down then headed up the road to the right. It eventually comes out at the base of the cliffs and many large boulders. We poked around a bit, but had no idea where the good stuff was, so we headed back and decided to try it on another day.
