Jan 30: Archie

You can't do one without the other, so after Rosie's appearance on PotD on Monday, today was Archie's turn. He's just a difficult as Rosie, tho not because he runs around, but because repeated use of SIT - STAY results in in him lying down and showing off his tum. He needs to be bribed with dog treats. In this shot, he'd had the last of the treats and was eyeing up my lenscap, held up high in my left hand. (Sucker!)

There's a better Rosie shot from Monday's session here.

I love this picture! My dog Rags is on to such tricks. I do pet portraits in pencil and charcoal and I would love to do one like this - if my clients would only get a little closer to their pets. ;-)

Great dog portait - I love his expression.

Our "other woman" has gone camera shy lately. I get the camera out and she goes & hides. Another good portrait Dave, nice match for Rosie.

Love the lighting and the look of the eye!

Great image. I bet he knows how many treats he can get before he has to perform.

Trouble he may be, but he sure makes a great subject.
