Linda

Today we set aside some time to try out our portraiture skills on one another. This is my pic of Linda. Still waiting to see Linda's picture of me!

UPDATE: Here's Linda's pic of me, needing a haircut and a shave!

Dave, I think the inherent contrast in this image and the nice blends of gray make it a very pleasing portrait. keep it up.

I'm still struggling with the studio lights. This one was done with 2 manual flash guns. One on a flash lead at arms length, bounced, the other behind Mandy's head on a £10 optical slave trigger. Yes, you can make do!

A very nice portrait David. Can one make do or do you have to get proper lighting?

Like the tones, and the light in Linda's hair. I remember a BW photo a little bit like this in the 70s used to advertise books. Anyway, Great Job. Now I'll look for Linda's....

It wasn't Claire's brother who took THAT pic it was Claire herself!

Wife :-)))
Lovely pic tho - reminds me of the one my brother took (also B&W) waaaaay back in 1980something.
You'll have to show me how to upload pics soon, as I'm still none the wiser!
