The last thing left at my old house is my 1969 VW Beetle... which hasn't moved under it's own power for about 5 years! It was towed to it's current home 4 years ago, and it has be moved by Thursday when my house sale completes. I'm determined that it will drive out of the garage, so today I was up at German and Swedish Car Parts at Heathrow buying the few things it needs to run. A new battery and distributor (the originals had been 'borrowed' to make the camper run) and some fuel hose to plumb in the new fuel pump that I purchased a year or two ago. Alas, the fuel pump is hidden away somewhere at my new house, so I couldn't complete the job. I can't get back over to the old house 'til Thursday, so it's going to be a race against time!
