I worked on the neck and headstock this evening. I hated the thick gloopy gloss finish, and stripping and refinishing would be a lot of work. So I took the gloss off with wire wool. Now it looks great and has a smooth silky feel. While I was about it, I rubbed off the makers name that had been silkscreened on the front. I like the look of these open geared tuning machines. They're not great quality but they look good!
