Nov 15: Data security

We've taken a car load of junk to the tip. Lot's of the rubbish in the loft that was left by the previous owner of the house, and a load of our old IT gear. You know the sort of thing. A broken inkjet printer, the motherboard I posted here a week or so back, a couple of non-functional CD-ROM drives, and this. One of several backup DVDs from long dead projects. It's only photographs, but I wanted to destroy the data first. Part way through the destruction it looked quite pretty.

Who would have thought the destruction of data would be beautiful?

Now, isn't this familiar! All the outdated hardware piling up all over the place, and the somewhat paranoid efforts to "destroy data"! :o) ( Cool photo! )
