The signals at Daggett

Daggett California

Previously a small community cartering to those travelers along Route 66, made up of gas stations, small shops and stores, with a few ranches around the outskirts. Now the stores are closed and I-40 to the south is used for traveling east and west.
But for those commutering between I-15 and I-40, the road to Daggett is used as a short cut. In this photo an approaching BNSF Freight train trip the crossing at Daggett on a stormy Friday night.

Cool shot! The red lights of the crossing arms remind me of a fireworks show.
