- 26th April 2005 - Security

Sitting in a queue of traffic today I got to thinking about the
'lock all doors' button fitted to the car. Not so much the button, but
when I press it. It's a subconcious thing really, but says a lot about
my perception of where I am.

Approaching red traffic light in dodgy city area... easy 'hit' the button.
But there are areas of town where I suddenly notice the red light
glowing. When did I push it? What was I thinking at the time? What would
the people outsde think if they knew.....

Quiet day then on the photo front, but continuing the motoring theme...
3 pedals and only 2 feet.... no wonder some people find it difficult,

and 2 potential sources of pollution.....

OK I eat there too, but had tuna pannini before tonight - mind you
where did the tuna come from and what method was used to catch it. You
just can't win.

Off to watch the snooker!

I like your thoughts with this picture. I find it interesting that even when we take maybe a picture that is not understood by others, it has somewhere some meaning to us.

Nice DOF with the hint of the CD in the background. Locking doors is a good idea - especially with cameras etc in the car!

Safety first is not a bad or silly thing....good shot too Ian.

Hmmm.....sitting in traffic does give one time to ponder all kinds of things....

A healthy dose of paranoia never hurt anyone. When security becomes habit, that's a good thing. Now, more importantly, nice macro shot.

I know what you mean, about locking the doors in dodgy areas - I do it too!

The kangoo had a button but the pug doesn't, I could be car jacked at any moment! :-o
