- 6th March 2005 - Bridge (Runcorn Bridge)

Runcorn Bridge Mersey Widnes

Took Helen to Sportshall athletics final this morning (she manages the U11 boys team!).
On the way back I explored around the Runcorn Bridge (that they based that other bridge down-under on :)), and Spike's Point. Not explored either before.... too many images of course.
If you've time take a look in the new Runcorn gallery, and checkout 2005 images gallery; I think you'll find some classic and some unusual views!! Shoes got very muddy!

At Spike's Point I tried to snap some of the amazing swans landing, but they always did
it behind my back - I've a new respect for you pbasers who have captured birds in-flight.
I failed miserably.

Lunch at the in-laws for Mothers day... couple of new images in faces.

Must get spare battery!!!

Nice curve against the blue sky, the structure looks like white Meccano!

I know this bridge Ian because one of our offices is in Runcorn (opposite Shopping City!!). I looked through your Runcorn gallery - there's obviously another side to the one I see.

Agree that this is the best of the "span" images!
