- 1st March 2005 - Triptych

OK I give in. We're not going to get snow! I spoke to a friend in Edinburgh earlier - snow, flights cancelled etc! Yet when I look through our dining room window what do I see?

So just to annoy you snow-bound friends here are a couple of shots from upstairs. I guess it's classic Cheshire, green fields and black and white cows :) Not so bad then really!

I have to admit it rained hard earlier - but you need that for green fields :)

ps thanks to Tom Derby for the title - changed after his posting :)

And here's the view back the way! Added later :)

Very nice.
Guest 02-Mar-2005 16:27
At least you have good views to compensate, I don't even have that!
Yvonne02-Mar-2005 12:10
They're all beautiful views - I'd swap our brown hills for some of your green!
Karen Stuebing02-Mar-2005 11:14
Definitely spring there. The windows make a great frame for the lovely soft colors of early spring. Hope you don't get snow.

Sure beats the rat race down here in Surrey! :-)
Guest 02-Mar-2005 09:14
Great framing... I share your disappointment on the no show snow front. Mind you, down here on the Costa Del Lee I really ought to be used to that by now!

where is the round window and the square window? (I see the arched one).
Guest 02-Mar-2005 04:33
It's been said alreading, but the framing really is quite dramatic! Good eye :)
Cindy02-Mar-2005 04:23
Neat perspective, love the framing, the black really pops the colors more also. I am one of them snow bound friends, and I was out shoveling and snow blowing a foot of snow this morning and will be again tomorrow, ugh, when will it ever end???

I really love how you captured the window shot and it appears you have a great view. At least you see trees!!! I see out of my bedroom window a parkinglot lol. Great capture with that window though, really really love that.

Nice framing to a beautiful view ... where are the spring blossoms on the trees??? :)

I like the framing!
Tor01-Mar-2005 19:04
You do not want any other view than this. Very nice. As I might have mentioned: Snow is highly overrated.
Sheena Woodhead01-Mar-2005 18:45
