I hope that seeing an image of this beautiful flower, which seems to be smiling up at the sky outside the window, will brighten up my friends who are not feeling so good at the moment. It is a beautiful rich, red colour. I bought it growing, in a bowl of three from Costco the other day. The other two stems have much lighter colour flowers on, and this particular one is short and stubby, but is this gorgeous rich colour. I knew I had to buy it, however 'deformed' it may be as everything deserves a chance of life. I also knew that it would make some beautiful photos!
