I do wish these beautiful birds would not fight! There are two places to drink from on this feeder and four on my other feeder, plus all the flowers they can get nectar from at the moment, but these birds are very territorial and one won't let the other get anywhere near the food source when it is on it. I think the one flying in (or trying to!) is a young male, he is still very white on the front, but has some red feathers developing on his chest. He is rather skittish so I have not managed to get a close up shot of him as yet.
