I have not been inspired to take any photos today, so am using this one. As I was driving around this afternoon I was listening to the female DJ on the local radio station talking about a weird bug she had seen flying yesterday in her garden. She thought it was a baby hummingbird, as it was hovering and buzzing like a hummingbird and had feathers, but 6 legs like an insect, so she looked it up on line and found that it was hummingbird moth she had seen. So, I thought I would post the photo of one that I took last week, as my photo for today. 20th July. Sorry it is not amazingly sharp, (obviously the wings are not sharp as they are flapping like crazy) but it was a quick grab shot before it buzzed off far away!
