I was delighted to see my first rose in bloom today - it is a miniature variety, and it was not till I looked at the image of the tiny flower on my computer monitor that I realised it has some hairs attached to it! I assume it is that cottonwood stuff that is flying about the air looking like snow at times as there is so much of it.
