I was too lazy or not interested enough to set up my GEM and a telescope so I used a 70-300 Canon L zoom lens with a white light Baader sun filter taped onto the lens. This shot is just before the sun set below the trees at my house, approximatly 7pm CDT.
Taken with a Canon 60D and a 70-300 f4-5.6L lens @ 300mm f11 1/100 sec exposure.
