This is my old setup for Astrophotography. In September 2011 I upgraded to an Astro-Physics Mach 1 mount.
The Celestron CGE Mount with Gary Bennett cable upgrade. Guided through the William Optics 80mm Fluoroite Doublet APO scope. The guide camera is a Meade DSI Pro. I use the freeware Phd Guide program for guiding run through an Windows XT laptop.
The camera I use is a Canon Rebel XT aka Canon 350. It has been modified by Hap Griffin http://www.hapg.org/astrocables.htm
The camera is run through the same lap top as the guiding, I use DSLR Focus software. This is a very nice program, but it has not been updated to work with camera's newer than mine.
The main telescope is a William Optics FLT110 Lite. The only difference between the 'Lite' version and the standard one is the focuser. The 'Lite' version comes with a new 2.5" Power Line Focuser. The optics are identical TBM designed triplet APO.
