New for the '66 harvest, The first in what would turn out to be a long line of Four-Wheel Drive tractors.
The 100 was the first FWD tractor on the market for less then $10,000. Essentially an off the shelf tractor, it came in two versions, The D-100 which powered by a Ford Industrial Diesel engine, or the G-100, Powered by a 318 Chrysler Gasoline engine. The 100 Designation comes from the rated Draw bar pull.
Due too late introduction in the model year, only 100 D-100's and 25 G-100's were built. The next year in 1967, the D118, and G125 came took the place of the 100's. The 100's and every Versatile since has been assembled at Versatile's 1260 Clarence Ave. Winnipeg plant.
