Versatile 42 Pull Type

Deep South Pioneer Museum Ogema Saskatchewan

An old warrior from the late Sixties sits among other venerable harvest machinery, Not many of these survive today out side museums.

The self propelled version of this was the model 420, The Pull type the model 42.
The model 42 was in production from 1965-70, assembled at Versatile's main plant in Winnipeg.
It featured a 42 inch wide, 19 1/2 diameter separator.
The grain tank held 75 bushels.

Nice bit of farming history on display here. Do they just leave these sitting out in the fields to rust away or is there a collectors group that saves these harvesters? Seems like a worthy cause to save them.
